53% of working baby boomers who aren't currently saving for retirement have no plans to save. Just 9% of middle-income workers save 15% or more of their income for retirement. Men are nearly twice as likely as women to have saved $250, 000 for retirement. 58% of Americans are saving for retirement, while 42% are currently not saving for their future. 42% of millennials have less than $25,000 saved for retirement, half of Gen xers with savings of $25,000 or more. 28% of millennials and 20% of Gen xers have no retirement.
